Buddhafied was originated in 2007 when I took a 10 months trip to Hong Kong and Japan to become a Buddhist priest. It was probably one of the most selfish thing I have ever done in my life, but it had also changed my perspective about life dramatically. To say the least, I have learned that life is a beautiful thing and that it's really how we choose to live that is important.
This blog now serves as a journal of my daily encounters. You might find me a bit sarcastic at times, but it's really because I am trying to hide my natural pessimistic personality with my weird sense of humour. You probably won't find my words or posts to be very monk-like at times either; yet, hopefully if you read between the lines of my silliness, you can see my often hidden philosophical side.
Like many other bloggers and their blogs, this blog was originally written for a very small group of people, but now it sort of become a little community. I am still fascinated to receive emails and comments from people who find what I write interesting, but at the same time, it is probably why this blog carried on after my trip. So feel free to drop me an email or a comment, I love reading comments.
