There still a little over a month and a half till I can watch movies again, but if I were to break the rules, it would've done so for this documentary. I saw this first at Long Story Longer, then Mr. Durban Bud posted it, now Big Rob too, it's contagious!

"If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." (Leviticus 20:13)

Uh-oh... I'm due for eternal damnation... hey... but wait...

"But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you." (Leviticus 11:10)

"They (shellfish) shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination." (Leviticus 11:11)

Ehm... I guess... you're damned too. Well, at least we can have lots of barbecues together. Don't forget to bring beers, I heard it's hot there.

War

Scotty and I like very different types of actors. Of course I like the ones who can act and he likes the ones who are just okay. By strange coincidence, our favourite actors happened to be in the same movie killing off each others: Jason Statham vs. Jet Li in War.

After his partner Tom Lone (Terry Chen) and family are killed apparently by the infamous and elusive assassin Rogue (Jet Li), FBI agent Jack Crawford (Jason Statham) becomes obsessed with revenge as his world unravels into a vortex of guilt and betrayal. Rogue eventually resurfaces to settle a score of his own, igniting a bloody crime war between Asian mob rivals Chang (John Lone) of the Triad's and Yakuza boss Shiro (Ryo Ishibashi). When Jack and Rogue finally come face to face, the ultimate truth of their pasts will be revealed.

Gangster movie? Dislike
Triad movie? Awful
Movie with guns? Are you kidding me!

A Jason Statham movie? Pleeeeeaaase take me to him!

On a side note, the movie was filmed in Vancouver... WOOOH, HOLD ON! Vancouver? Where the heck was I when they filmed the movie? You mean I could've stalked and rubbed my hands all over Jason shaked hands with Jason when he was here? Great, now I have to wait for another ten years for another celebrity on my list to come visit Vancouver.

From a few other blogs I visit, I saw that you can create your own Simpsons character at the Simpsons movie homepage. Since I don't get to watch movies right now but I want to watch the Simpsons, I decided to create my own avatar. Here's Scotty and I.

Though I've never been a huge fan for the show King of Queens, I do like Kevin James, for the obvious reason that he's a cute bear with a great smile I think he's a very good comedian and for a big guy like him he sure can do some amazing physical comedy.

Since I'm not allow to watch movies right now, I haven't been paying much attention to new movie releasing this year (other than some huge billboard signs that have been wallpapering Hong Kong like Harry Potter and Transformers), but when I was clicking through Rotten Tomatoes I found out today is the release day of a gay-subjected film, I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry, starring Kevin James and Adam Sandler.

...Fireman Chuck owes his best friend Larry for saving his life in a fire, and Larry calls in that favor big time when civic red tape prevents him from naming his three kids as his life insurance beneficiaries. All that Chuck has to do is claim to be Larry's domestic partner on some city forms...

They didn't get good reviews from Rotten Tomatoes (with only 14% approval rating), and honestly, the plot sounds a little too adam-sandler-style-non-creative-comedy for my liking. But nevertheless, I think with a bear in fireman uniform Kevin James, it's worth to watch... Maybe not at the theatre, but at least on DVDs.
