Scenerio A

9:00am - Inside Coffee-room chilling out with the head shipper.

Shipper: So, have you signed up going to the Family Bowling event yet?

Me: No, I'm not sure about that one.

Shipper: Why? It's going to be fun, man.

Me: Well, I'm not a family kinda guy, and I'm not a bowling kinda guy. So Family Bowling just doesn't do anything to me.

Scenerio B

10:30am - Sitting at my desk having a brief meeting with fellow marketing co-worker.

Me: I'll deal with the design part, and when the text come back from the manager, I'll pass it on to you, maybe you can just double check his writing.

Co-worker: Sure, no worries.

Me: Yeah, but put this in your low priority, this is not urgent at all.

Co-worker: Oh, that just hapens to be my favourite kind of priority!

Working at home: Dilbert style

I'm enjoying working at home right now.

I don't have the stress of having to catch up on my practices in the morning, like I did the past few months. Also, I can chat a little bit online while working. I always find, for some reason, I'm more efficient working when I can chat with others. It doesn't mean I'll be necessarily chatting, but just the thought of having people "around" me makes me concentrate. I remember when I was still in school, I always have my ICQ or msn on when I was studying. It felt like there's a vitual study group. Am I the only one like this?

Anyway, Mary from work saw this and she thought of me. I laughed. I hope she knows that I don't throw my pens in the air when I work, that's what stuffed toys are for. And underwear is a form of clothing.

Flooded

I'm finally back at work.

Of course I'm not back at work yet since I'm still oversea, but I'm putting 8 hours per day Monday thru Friday now to do my regular job online.

I decided to have a light day today and just check my emails.

I was expecting having lots of emails since I haven't check it for a month, but nothing can prepared me for the actual number of emails in my inbox: an Astonishing 16,362 NEW EMAILS! 

Of course, more than 90% of those emails were spams. What worse was that I couldn't use the remote server to control my computer at work, so I had to use the webmail version of my inbox, and each times it only shows 25 emails. On top of that, the filter function didn't work, so I couldn't even filter out all the bounced backs and spams. It took me 4 hours (3 hours and 52 minutes to be percise) to clear my inbox (I think I replied to like 15 of them).

What a great way to start working again. I take it as the world is welcoming me back.
